About

Dr. Manjinder Kour is a Chemistry Instructor and Postdoctoral Researcher at Montana State University, Bozeman, USA. She earned her Ph.D. in Chemistry from India, following an M.Sc. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. She has held academic and research positions across India, Germany, and the United States. Dr. Kour’s expertise lies in materials chemistry, metal–sulfide and mineral systems, organometallic chemistry, nanotechnology, and computational chemistry, with a strong focus on sustainable catalysis, biomining, bioinspired nitrogen fixation, and early-Earth mineral reactivity. Her work integrates DFT calculations, spectroscopy, and experimental mineral chemistry to understand and control metal reactivity in environmental and biological contexts. She has authored 30+ peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters spanning novel synthesis, catalysis, conducting polymers, polymer-supported catalysts, and waste-to-resource technologies, and actively serves as a reviewer and editorial contributor for international journals. Dr. Kour is a recipient of the Researcher of the Year Award, a Faculty Research Award for excellence in teaching and research and several others. She has presented her work internationally across North America, Europe, Africa, and Asia, mentored undergraduate and graduate researchers, and delivered invited lectures on sustainable chemistry and advanced functional materials.
