Dr. Sapana Jadoun is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the Universidad de Tarapacá, Arica, Chile, and leads the Sol-ARIS Lab (Solar-driven Advanced Remediation & Innovation for Sustainability). She is a Top 2% Scientist worldwide (Stanford–Elsevier, 2023–2025) with expertise in materials chemistry, conducting polymers, photocatalysis, and solar-driven metal recovery. She has authored 100+ peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, holds multiple international patents, and has received ~4,500 citations (h-index 33, i10-index 72; Google Scholar) . Dr. Jadoun is Principal Investigator of an ANID FONDECYT Regular project (1260576) on solar-driven photocatalytic metal recovery from E-waste as well as solar recovery of copper from minerals and is also associated with multiple national and international funded projects, including FONDECYT Postdoctoral, FONDAP-SERC, and UTA Mayor grants, focusing on sustainable remediation, nano-hybrids, and advanced oxidation/reduction processes.
